A Netflix domina a lista de indicações deste ano, quebrando o recorde antes pertencente a HBO para o maior número de indicações ao Emmy. O serviço de streaming recebeu um total de 160 indicações, seguida pela HBO com 107 acenos.

“Watchmen” é a produção mais indicada com um total de 26 indicações, seguido pela comédia “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” que recebeu 20 nomeações – mesmo número de indicações do ano passado. “Ozark” e “Succession” receberam 18 indicações cada.
Como sempre existe algumas surpresas e desprezos, que inclui a inesperada indicação de “The Mandalorian” para o principal prêmio de série dramática e a inexplicável falta de reconhecimento pelo desempenho de Kristen Bell em “The Good Place” – embora a série que ela lidera tenha sido amplamente reconhecida com diversas indicações, incluindo melhor série de comédia.
